The Dimensions Of Solid Tires

In the solid tire standard, each specification has its own dimensions. For example, the national standard GB/T10823-2009 “Solid Pneumatic Tires Specifications, Size and Load” stipulates the width and outer diameter of new tires for each specification of solid pneumatic tires. Unlike pneumatic tires, solid tires no maximum used size after expansion. The size given in this standard is the maximum size of the tire. Under the premise of satisfying the load capacity of the tire, the tire can be designed and manufactured smaller than the standard, the width has no lower limit, and the outer diameter can be 5% smaller than the standard, that is, the minimum should not be smaller than the standard 95% of the specified outside diameter. If the 28×9-15 standard stipulates that the outer diameter is 706mm, then the outer diameter of the new tire is in line with the standard between 671-706mm.

In GB/T16622-2009 “Specifications, Dimensions and Loads of Press-on Solid Tires”, the tolerances for the outer dimensions of solid tires are different from GB/T10823-2009, and the outer diameter tolerance of press-on tires is ±1%. , the width tolerance is +0/-0.8mm. Taking 21x7x15 as an example, the outer diameter of the new tire is 533.4±5.3mm, and the width is within the range of 177-177.8mm, all of which meet the standards.
