Solid tire terms, definitions and representation

 

 

1.   Terms and Definitions                                                          

_. Solid tires: Tubeless tires filled with materials of different properties.

_. Industrial vehicle tires:

Tyres designed for use on industrial vehicles. Mainly divided into solid tires and pneumatic tires.

Such vehicles are usually short-distance, low-speed, intermittent driving or periodic work vehicles.

_. Foam-filled tires:

Tires with elastic foam material instead of compressed gas in the inner cavity of the tire casing

_. Solid tires with pneumatic tire rims:

solid tires assembled on the rim of pneumatic tires

_. Press-on solid tires:

A solid tire with a steel rim that is press onto a rim (hub or steel core) with an interference fit.

_. Bonded solid tires (Cured on solid tires/ Mold on solid tire):

Rimless solid tires vulcanized directly on the rim (hub or steel core).

_. Inclined bottom solid tires:

A solid tire with a conical bottom and mounted on a split rim.

_. Antistatic solid tire:

Solid tires with conductive properties that prevent static charge build-up.
